Korean Orphan Girl

South Korean Orphan Girl. Reminds me of when Zena was younger. I wish I could adopt her.

A Day Out

Me, Zena and Innes Jr went to E-Mart to look for some skin meds for the cat. We ended up just shopping and walking around the entire day. A couple of random pics below.

Innes Jr getting ready to eat our favorite lunch. It's pork fat, shrimp, octopus in chili sauce with stem mushrooms and rice. Spicy as hell but tastes great. Not for the weak though.

We bought a rice cooker. This thing is cool. Speaks to you in Korean although we don't know what it's saying or what the buttons mean. I figured it out and we made a great batch of white rice. I was never good at making rice so this should help a lot.

DMZ Tour

Me and the fam went to the DMZ today. Spent some time in the JSA, Dora Observatory, Tunnel #3, lunchee, then home. It was a nice day and the north Koreans (nK) were grumpy as usual. If any of you come out I'll take you to the DMZ for a day. I wasn't in charge of the camera so pictures are random.
ROK Soldiers at the ready. These guys secure conference row for visitors and make sure the nKs don't try to grab anyone.

nK soldier watching us watch him.

Innes Jr in the north Korean side.
The Bridge of No Return.
Di and Zena's lunch. Bibimbap
Innes Jr and the tour Guide Sunny.
Me and Innes Jr's lunch. Bulgogi.

Bought a bottle of nK whiskey.
Must be made of mushrooms.
My Korean part of the house just for fun.

Ok, so this add caption thing is kicking my butt a little. Enjoy the pictures.
Oh yeah, when I got home I went to the PX and bought a camera for myself. No more hot seating the Nikon.

Fly Tying

I have some hobbies. One is fly fishing and fly tying. I'm not good at either but I enjoy it. Take a look.

These are some of my dry flies ready to go down range.
Some wets
This is my tying station. Sort of crowded but it's all the room I have. I spend most of my time here listening to music, watching movies, tying flies. That's an empty glass of Guinness.
This is my fly box. Not completely filled but enough for a day of fishing. I have more flies but keep them in separate trays.

These are some capes I use for feathers. The one on the right is grizzly and the one on the left is brown. These things are expensive. I have to fight the cat off when he sees them. He goes nuts.
Guess what this is. It's a rabbit mask (face) with whiskers. Creeps me out each time I see it. The cat loves these.

Laziness

Zena put a couple pillows down for Moochie. One has a heating pad. Now he does nothing all day.
